140th Anniversary Logo Design Competition【Entry Closed - Thank you for your cooperation.】
Osaka City University (OCU) will celebrate its 140th anniversary in 2020.
Osaka Commercial Training Institute, the predecessor of OCU, was established in 1880 taking the lead of modernization of Japan with the leadership of the predecessors including Tomoatsu Godai. Based on this as a great origin, in 1928, Osaka University of Commerce, the first municipal university in Japan, was established with expectations of Osaka citizens.
With “history/tradition, appreciation/pride and innovation/progress” as a slogan and by making the year 2020 as “the 140th anniversary of its foundation”, anniversary projects will be promoted by collaboration with the OCU community. One of the projects is a logo design competition.
