On Friday, 9 November 2018, the delegation of two, including Dr. Julia L. Lin, Vice President of I-Shou University (ISU) in Taiwan, visited President Arakawa of Osaka City University (OCU).

After the Sugimoto Campus tour in the rain, Dr. Tsuruta, Vice Director of OCU Global Exchange Office, joined them to confirm moving ahead on constructive academic exchanges between both universities and discussed on student exchange and research cooperation.

After discussion they moved to the Abeno Campus where the signing ceremony of an inter-faculty academic exchange agreement took place between the OCU Graduate School of Medicine and the ISU College of Medicine as well as OCU Graduate School of Medicine and ISU E-DA Hospital.

After the signing ceremony the delegation shared opinions with Dr. Ohata, Dean of Graduate School of Medicine, and had a tour of the University Hospital and confirmed expansion of exchanges.
