OCU concludes academic exchange agreement with Fuzhou University Law School (China)
On 4 November 2016 Dean Mari Kanazawa and Specially Appointed Vice President Takanobu Kiriyama visited the Fuzhou University Law School in Fujian Province, China, where they concluded an international academic exchange agreement on behalf of the OCU Faculty of Law.
Fuzhou University was established in 1958 and is famous for its achievements in the science and technical engineering fields as well as its highly respected departments of economics, business, art, design, law and humanities. It is one of the universities that were selected by the Chinese government for Project 211.?
Fuzhou University's Law School was established in 1993. It now has approximately 500 undergraduate and 450 graduate students (in total the university has approximately 50,000 students).
The academic exchange agreement will make it possible to realize student exchange, educational and research projects between scholars, and exchange of materials and information, with the aim to promote mutual cooperation in the field of law. The signing ceremony took place at the Fuzhou University Law School.
